Instantly recognizable to any KU fan, the iconic and ominous “Pay Heed” comes from the banner that hangs at the north end of the Jayhawks’ home court. While the original has since been replaced with a replica (the original hangs in the Hall of Athletics) the message remains the same: “Pay Heed All Who Enter: Beware of the Phog!”
