The combination of a 12-fret neck, slightly shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length, and a shifted bridge position (closer to the centre of the lower bout) produces a slinkier handfeel, while the mahogany top and body produce a signature midrange warmth and focus with a natural compression. Taylor's new patented V-Class bracing pattern coaxes new levels of projection, sustain, and improved intonation out of the guitar. The interior label on all V-Class guitars bears the signature of master guitar designer Andy Powers. A smooth shaded edge burst adds a tasteful vintage look to the rich-grained mahogany top.
