The Cambridge was part of the inaugural Leisure Society collection, first launched in 2012. According to designer Shane Baum, "When we launched the collection, we wanted a look that was classically inspired and instantly recognizable luxury, without looking ostentatious. The Cambridge was the first model that checked all these boxes, thus marking the birth of Leisure Society". This particular version is a rare Ruthenium and 24k gold-plated titanium model, of which only 100 were produced. Ruthenium is the only known element that pairs with both titanium and 24-karat gold. The Cambridge frame in this construction has been owned by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx, actor Dax Shepard, and No Doubt drummer Adrian Young, among others. There are only two known Leisure Society certified new Cambridge Ruthenium/24K Gold frames that are known to exist. This particular frame has the serial number 031110.
